Step 1: Unscrew or Pull Out the Crown

If your watch has a screw-down crown, like the Houtman Murchison Series does, gently unscrew it counterclockwise until it pops out. If there is no screw-down feature, simply pull the crown out.

The SW200 has 2 or 3 crown positions, model depending, The SW200-1 B that Houtman use in the Murchison seres, is a no date version – so only has 2 crown positions. 1) the hand wind position, and 2) the time setting position

With the crown in the time-setting position, turn it to set the hour the minutes. Take your time to align the hands with the correct hour and minute markers on the watch dial.

Step 3: Set the Date (if applicable)

If your watch has a date complication, move the crown to the date setting position, and turn the crown to set the date.

Step 4: Utilize the Hacking Feature

The Sellita SW200 movement features a hacking function, which means that the seconds hand stops when the crown is pulled out, allowing for precise time adjustment. Ensure that the hands are aligned accurately before moving to the next step.

Once you've set the time and, if applicable, the date, gently push the crown back in towards the case- you will see the seconds hand start moving again. If your watch has a screw-down crown, make sure to screw it back down snugly to maintain water resistance.
